Hyperdock is currently a beta application designed for Mac OS X 10.6 (and up) that I found on LifeHacker. It demonstrates the same concept of Microsoft’s Windows 7 Aero Peek, but has more sophistication, functionally and features than Aero Peek. One can mouse over any icon in the dock to preview all open windows of any running application. By simply hovering and remaining over the displayed Hyperdock preview, a minimised application will be brought into focus.
Hyperdock allows for the interfacing of iCal and iTunes with special previews, which allow for viewing your diary’s events, or to manage music currently being played.
Additionally, Hyperdock has incorporated the ability to assign keyboard shortcuts to each individual application within one’s dock, which will allow the quick launching of Finder windows, iCal, Exposé, etc.
